My review of Professional Learning in the Knowledge Society, edited by Karen Jense, Leif Chr. Lahn and Monika Nerland has just been published (online preview) in the Journal of Education and Work.
In summary, this is really great book in my view. In particular it’s a very refreshing and quite distinctive example of an edited volume, given that all the chapters are derived from the same project. This gives it a brilliant depth and coherence.
And it satisfies all my biases in really foregrounding questions of learning and knowledge (or knowing) in the context of work.
