Research-informed education resources for Nepalese parents experiencing difficulty with child feeding
This project is a multi-cultural extension of the SuCCEED project.
With Dr Chris Elliot we received a grant of $19,968 from the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Multicultural Health Grants Program.
The aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of Nepalese families with a specific focus on child feeding. In collaboration with SESLHD, Sydney Children’s Hospital. The objectives are to:
- Develop new, culturally-relevant resources in Nepali, to better support Nepalese parents in relation to: non-assertive, age-appropriate feeding practices in healthy children, and feeding children with complex health problems.
- Build capacity by developing new resources for practitioners to help them meet the specific needs of Nepalese service users in relation to child feeding.
